She currently resides in Johannesburg, South Africa. She spent the first ten years of her life in West Africa, followed by a short stay in Lesotho. The pressures related to academics and life partners, the stress experienced by Malayalee parents regarding their children and important conversations such as the birds and the bees (that are conveniently excluded in Mallu families) are guaranteed to have the reader in stitches. An endogamous group, misconceptions of Africa and the delightful state of Kerala are also highlighted.
